Customer Complaints Handling Procedure

What do I do if I have a problem?
If you are unhappy with the services provided by your electricity supplier you should let them know. Ask them to resolve the problem for you and, if they don’t do so, submit a formal complaint. When you submit your complaint make sure that you include as much detail as possible about your problem and what you want to happen.

Do not complain to ONEIC or OIFC, they are agents of your supplier and are not responsible for solving such problems.

If your supplier still does not resolve your problem ask for it to be escalated to a senior manager, as described in the approved Complaint Handling Procedure reproduced above.

Following that, if you are still unable to reach a solution with your supplier you can refer your complaint to the Authority. We will investigate and can normally resolve dispute between you and your electricity supplier. If necessary we can use our legal powers to help us do so.
